| Since more than 20 years I had rough and flaky facial skin. When in 2003 my immune system was weakened, in my face appeared red itchy points which made me suffer a lot. The dermatologist found demodex folliculorum and told me that there was no real remedy. In internet I found Demodexsolutions and tried its medical ointments. After about one year's treatment with Zhongzhou and XinFumanling my face seemed to be ok. During the first weeks, the treatment was very hard, because my face itched and burned terribly. But some testimonials on the Demodexsolution messageboard talked about the same experience and that was encouraging, so I continued... Now the skin feels smoother and better than during the last 20 years. I'm treating the skin with Zhongzhou and XinFumanling without metronidazole. Even if there will be reinfections (by the cat, by other persons), I'll not panic: I know what to do. I am happy to have found Demodexsolutions and its products! | I got sick 6 years ago. Red spots appeared on my face and remained for several weeks. I visited different doctors and every time I was prescribed different treatments. After these treatments I had temporary remissions if any. Then the spots appeared again but there were more of them. For 5 years I had 9 different dermatologists who cured me with 9 different methods. I should say that the methods were rather irritating for my skin: the face was always red and flaking. A year ago all my face was covered with the red sports. 3 -4 sports appeared during a day, I could feel that, as they were extremely itching. | No cure for Rosacea?...A picture is worth a thousand words I had suffered from what in medical terms is called, Papular Rosacea for 20 years. My symptoms which started on my last pregnancy included the following: Dilated capillaries (red spidery veins around my nose) Papules (water filled small bumps) in my cheeks Eventually the scattered papules became large bumps The bumps then formed thick, red patches, in my cheeks and temples. It had started creeping into my lower eyelids Constant red eyes related to eye invasion It went into my nose creating thick red tissue I had stinging and itching of the red, raised patches and bumps Needles to say, I became despondent and depressed. I had no social life, etc. On visits to Family Doctors and Dermatologists I was told that it was Rosacea, it was incurable and the only thing that could be done was treat the symptoms. So the doctors prescribed among other thing (this are only some of the RX names I remember): Prednizole, Triamcinolone, Fluocinolone, Elocon, Topsyn, and every antiobiotic you can think of. I have spent a small fortune on doctor prescribed medicines. One day after running totally out of a very expensive steroid, while at the same time going trough a bad period of stress, I got one of the worse attacks of the condition I had ever had. Thank GOD for His love to me. In my desperation I searched the internet one more time for possible help. I found Demodex Solutions and the hope that not one doctor ever gave me. I was so exited I started crying. I ordered one of each of the products right away. As bad as my condition was, I could see a difference within 1 week. I have used the Acarid Soap 2 x a day (wonderful) and the Zhong Zhou Ointment before bedtime for about 5 and ½ months and I can truly say that I'm almost totally cured. | After suffering many years from rosacea I have found Demodex Solutions in google. Since years I have tried everything und used a lot of medicine. Nothing helped, I had dark red spots next to my nose, mouth, on my chin, on my cheeks and my skin was bumpy with big pores. Few doctors in Germany told me that rosacea is not healable. I used big coats of make-up, always afraid somebody could see my red spots. I started to use the zhongzhou in the night and the fumanling during the day. After 10 days 50 % of the spots have been disappeared. After this incredible rapid improvement the skin was each week better and better. The skin started to be smoother, the pores became smaller and the spots looked paler from week to week. In spite of the enormous improvement was the begin of the treatment difficult. My skin was red from the fumanling, dry from the zhongzhou and I didn’t use make-up anymore. I tried to use make-up in this time but the skin started to show the spots again after having make-up only few hours. So I had to come through. After 3 months I had a setback because I went to a solarium and to protect my face from the light I have put a towel on my face during the 15 minutes sunning. Next day I had my spots again – I don’t know what happened but under the towel was of course dark, very hot and I have been sweeting. I started this day my treatment nearly from the begin. My second setback I had 2 months later in a dark restaurant where I have been 9 hours. Next day again my old spots. I write this for all who maybe have setbacks too, maybe not so good and rapid results and don’t find out why. Today my skin is free of rosacea, no spots anymore, my skin is smooth and my pores much more smaller. When I feel like I use a little bit make-up with rouge again but I don’t need it. I am going in public without make-up too without to be concerned about my skin. I still use the zhongzhou in the night, the fumanling during the day. And I love the soap! | True Beauty...My Acne Story It was the most wonderful time of my life! I was entering a pageant, school was going great, I had many friends, I loved my life and I loved being me…Kate Ehlke the achiever, the talented girl, the beautiful girl, the person other people wanted to be, that was me and I loved it. I loved going up on stage, I loved going outside, I loved meeting new people (I was what people would call a “big” people person) and I loved being the center of attention. I had so many wonderful dreams on how my life would go…the things I would achieve in my life. After I found out I was a finalist in the pageant (the WI American Coed Pageant) that I entered I decided that in order to make myself even more perfect than I already was I would start to use some “products” to make myself more beautiful. I remember it was cold and late when my mom and I walked into the Big K. I walked right to the cosmetic isle and started to look at the different products. “Wow! This one makes it so you never get a pimple! Cool! This one gets rid of dead skin cells! Excellent! This one restores moisture to your skin making it look glowing! Wunderbar! This one gets rid of any red marks on your face!!! This soap looks good…this looks good too…oh, this smells so pretty.” After finally deciding on about 6 things to make myself more beautiful I went to the cashier and checked out. I recall thinking that now I truly would look like one of those models on TV!!! About 2 weeks later I walked into the mall and was going for my “free” makeover. It was so exciting getting flawless eyes, lips, cheeks, etc. I felt like a princess sitting in that chair and having this pretty young girl put different colors and sparkles on my face. Afterwards I went and had my photo professionally taken since I was all made up! Within a few weeks I saw I started to get more blackheads so I rushed to the store for some more “anti-blackhead” cream. Well, in a few months I found I was starting to get more pimples so what did I do but rush to the store for more “anti-pimple” cream and some extra makeup to cover it up…”let’s see, I have foundation, powder, mascara, eye shadow, lipstick, lip shine, I think those are all of the basics.” I always had to go to the store if it was not for more foundation/powder it was for more anti-blemish cream (my “miracle”…beautifying cream) since I did not want to be caught without my “products.” I remember my mom and I went on a week’s vacation out east. On our way home before we left the hotel my mom walked into the bathroom and saw me “putting on my face” (since by this time I had completely lost my normal face) and she told me I should not wear it today because we would only be in the car driving home. Oh, I had a fit about not wearing my makeup but finally went along with it…I did however sneak a few coats of mascara and a thin coat of lipstick (to make my now pale lips look a little more “healthy.”) Pageant day finally arrived! It was so exciting. All the beautiful clothes, the beautiful girls, the makeup…it seemed to be right out of a fairy tale book. I was so honored to be given the title of the 2001 Miss American JR. Teen Wisconsin Talent. I learned very fast afterwards that holding a title was no easy task. I was always going somewhere, meeting someone new, etc. etc. If I did not have an appointment with one of the elected officials, I was attending a special function; if not one of those I was most likely signing an autograph for a little girl and listening to her dreams. I fell in love working at the Homeless Shelter! Oh it was so much fun feeding the hungry or helping out in the nursery with the children. I loved life! I felt like I was making a difference! I was giving back to my community! I loved making little ones laugh and adults smile. It filled my whole being with complete joy. I continued this all through my reign. After I passed the crown, my skin continued to worsen. At this point I would not even let my mom see me without foundation and powder on. I would wake up while it was still dark in order that I could put my makeup on without having to look at my now very red/blotchy/pimply/blackhead filled face. I started to develop very severe welts on my face, on my head, on my back and even in my ears. I finally broke down and realized that all of my beautifying products were not making me beautiful, they were creating a monster face, so I threw out all the foundation, powder, eye shadow, lip gloss and all of the acne creams I was now using. I remember crying when I took the big bag to the trash bin. I felt it would get better since I stopped using the products…little did I know what was to come. Things did not get better, in fact they got worse! I developed more and more hard lumps all over my face. I remember one day I got so upset after a little girl asked me something about my face that when I got home I went to the bathroom with a razor blade and started to cut every lump…I watched as yellow ooze filled with blood pored down my face. Whenever I go out in public a part of me now cries inside. I no longer hear little girls say to me, “I love you Kate and when I grow up I want to be just like you.” I now get questions such as, “What is wrong with your face?” “Why do you look that way?” “What is that stuff on your face?” “Your skin feels nasty!” I have no dreams anymore. It is hard enough waking up to a “new” day since for me there really is not a new day. Update So much has happened in the year since I wrote this. I finally realized that I should do something with my acne to try to educate others on the disease. I stopped hiding as much and now lead a pretty normal life…but every chance I get I share with people what it is like to live with a skin disease like acne. I have become very active with a few on-line acne support groups and am now starting a support group for WI. I have met many people around the world that have stories to tell like me and I have also had many people around the world share with me what they do to help their condition. I have tried many many things from all different parts of the world to cure my acne and have found two things that have finally worked (Dian35 and the products from http://www.demodexsolutions.com/default.asp). Today I have a pretty good complexion with hardly any physical scars. I am thankful that I finally have my acne under control. This year I was honored to win a top national award for an art piece I created and it was exhibited at the Milwaukee Art Museum (in WI) and at the Corcoran Museum (in Washington D.C). I was accepted into the National Society for High School Scholars and have my bio in this year’s Who’s Who Among American High School Students. My emotional scars are slowly healing and I am enjoying my life once again. (I however still do not like cameras.) I have learned so much over these 4 long years and will never forget my experience with severe acne. | Since I suffer from allergies to cats, dogs, horses etc., that are known to be triggered by an immune response to the animal's proteins, the theory of being allergic to a micro-organism living on my face didn't seem too far fetched to me. Being cautious, I tried the soap first and I noticed that around the areas where my Rosacea was prevalent my skin became scaly and dry, then later became smoother. My underlying Rosacea was still noticeable but the soap seemed to be initiating a healing process on the top layers of my skin. Consequently I ordered a one month supply of the ointment and cream. During the first week, just as the instructions stated, my Rosacea became much worse. But I stayed with it and gradually by the end of the second week it started to markedly improve. Each week showed more improvements and by five weeks my face looked 99.5% Rosacea free and better than it had in well over a decade. Over the years&nb sp;I have been treated in the U.S.A. by three dermatologists with the usual arsenal of antibiotics, Metrocreams, gels, Elidel, etc., but I can emphatically state that this treatment is the only thing that has ever been truly effective. The only caveat is that the ointment smells like menthol when it is first applied, but after ten minutes will take on a rather unpleasant sulfurous/acidic aroma, so I use a thin layer only at night before I go to bed. Otherwise, the cream and soap are pleasant smelling. As far as I'm concerned the acrid smell of the ointment is a small price to pay for totally clear skin. | I have been suffering for over a year with red nose, itchy eyes and worst of all, I didn't feel good about the way I looked. | I just want Walter and all the people to know ...This soap is wonderful ..!!! As well as all your products . | After waging a six month war against Scabies, and winning, I thought I was free of parasites. Unfortunatly, they weren't through with me. | Hey out there, I'm a 35 year old female and I've had this red itchy spot on my chin for 3 years now. I started seeing a dermatologist and she reassured me it was only rosacia. After treating me with the usual medication for rosacia, I saw no improvement. This went on for quite awhile. The doctor finally took a biopsy January of 2002. | I was diagnosed with rosacea on the lower third of my nose, approximately one year ago by a dermatologist. I tried several different prescription creams which are currently used by the medical establishment, however, no improvement was noticed. I then tried laser therapy which was unsuccessful and very costly. By this time, I was becoming very upset and discouraged as the red bumps on my nose were spreading and it was becoming quite noticeable. | After overseas travel with work I came home with an itchy skin problem and although I live near New York City and went to almost a dozen doctors, including a tropical disease specialist, none were able to give me an accurate diagnosis or treatment.
